According to the Novemeber 30, 1910 issue of The Jewelers' Ciruclar-Weekly, "The Elgin Giant Watch Case Co., recently incorporated in Springfield, Ill., is a subsidary concern of the Illinois watch Case Co. and was organized for selling in foreign countries only."
