While this grade appears in "gold-filled" sections within catalogs, it is likely a rolled gold plate case. It started out being guaranteed for a duration of five years but was later upgraded to ten. After the Brooklyn Watch Case Company was absorbed by Fahys, the "Orient" case was produced under the "Brooklyn" name (see marking variants on this page).
