Advertisements published in the 1884 issues of The Jewelers' Circular and Horological Review indicate that Geo. H. Richards, Jr. is the "sole agent for Goold's patent regulator." (Found on Boston Watch Co. private label movements).

Advertisements published in the 1884 issues of The Jewelers' Circular and Horological Review indicate that Geo. H. Richards, Jr. is the "sole agent for Goold's patent regulator." Since Goold's regulator has only been found on "Boston Watch Co." private label watches manufactured by the Hampden Watch Company, it is reasonable to attribute this private label to Richards (based in Boston).
