Case Details Front case cover has deeply die engraved floral detail around the outer edge of the cover, surrounding a cross hatched spiral detail with an empty cartouche set in a floral detail. The rear case cover has the same deeply die engraved detail as the front cover surrounding a full side image an Irish setter facing to the left. The case ring itself is also deeply die engraved with an alternating pattern of beaded dots and lines inclined to the right. There are no mfg. markings on this case with the exception of the six digit serial number (163363) on the inside of the cuvette, and the last five digits of the serial no. (-63363) flat of the rear of the case ring .
The case is designed for a lever set watch having a set screw in the neck to keep the stem in place or to allow its removal and the bow is firm and not loose.

Hamilton factory records show the 251668 was finished on 6-15-04, and sold 3-11-07 to jeweler T. Lowrey of Colchester Ill., whose name appears on the dial (but not the movement), through wholesaler/ jobber L. Seligman Jewelry Co. of Chicago.
Hamilton produced 33, 079 plain (no gilt yellow trim, which included the regulator parts, numbers and lettering, and movement and case screws) 927's and 16,598 Gilt trim 927's.
