Case Details | The movement was purchased in an OF case as a "sidewinder" and was re-cased in an ornate Keystone W.C.Co. ornate 14k GF HC case (J. Boss grade), with an additional inner dust cover. Both the front and back cover have the identical die engraved decoration with the only difference being the cartouche on the back cover has a small scene engraved in it and the front is left empty for the addition of owners initials. The serial number is repeated on all of the cases three covers. |

Dial Details | Roman numerals 1 through 12 are found on the outer chapter with Arabic numerals 13 through 24 on the inner chapter. The large Louis IV hands are out of place on this watch and the height of the bezel crystal is too low, causing interference to the minute hand. |
Movement Markings | A.W.W.Co., WALTHAM MASS. CRESCENT ST., "17 JEWELS , ADJUSTED, A.W.W.Co." (American Waltham Watch Co,), "Crescent St.," and ser. no. stamped on train bridge. "SAFETY BARREL", stamped on barrel bridge. This movement was converted at the factory from a "Royal" to a Crescent St. by milling out the area where "Royal" was originally stamped and replacing it with "Crescent Street. |
