| Case Details | Inside of the back cover "&SRCo." (the ampersand precedes the "S" over the "R" followed by Co. The PWDB lists Serex and Robert as a case maker in Boston from 1880 to 1889 and I assume this was their trade mark. Arnold Robert later partnered with Cyrus Foster (who worked at Serex and Robert until 1885) and started the Arnold E. Robert and Foster Watch Case manufacturers, also in Boston. Foster died of a stroke in 1902. |
