THANK YOU for considering our clean and classic Hamilton signed original "clamshell" model, 16 size, open face, 25 year smooth yellow gold fill, pendant set, hinged swingout design, fancy dress case! Here's Hamilton's clamshell model you will find most often on its Grades 950P and 956, but works with all other pendant set models. It features a smooth exterior, slender and elegant neck, wide and high-profile crown, fancy bow, and the popular side swing-out feature unique to this case!! This highly collectible and fine case is in fully serviceable condition. I have restored and detailed this case right down to the two hinges so you get the best looking and working case possible! The bezel pops open easily and seats tight. The inner swing-ring is tightly hinged and opens to the correct angle, also seating back down inside flush and not fouling the bezel. The correct original crown's fluting is still sharp and defined for a tight, sure grip, and it turns freely and extracts properly to set pendant set time and release the ring. The bow is also its "french" or "omega" style correct matching one, shows zero brass or damage, and swings loose. The crystal is a thick, brand-new looking beveled mineral glass model with no issues. This fine case fits all standard-featured pendant-set-ONLY movements. The case does show exceedingly minimal wear, including light, faint carrying wear, no marrings or doodlings, zero brass whatsoever, and just a couple of very faint dings to the back only.
