| Case Details | 1887 Elgin, Sz18, 15j. Micro Regulator, Gold Gilding, Bi Metal Balance, Double Sunk Dial. And the Icing on top is the Bulls Eye Crystal. What a great look a Bulls Eye adds to a Double Sunk Dial. Bulls Eye crystals have a flat spot on the crystal that produces the circular cast of light you see on the dial. The case had some deterioration. This was improved by sanding the case with 2000 grit sand paper. Staying off of the great coin edging. Then polishing. This watch is a personnel favorite. Great watch. Love it. |
