Serial Number 4785597 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: Correction, there is a center jewel pair. Did not
see it initially, but see it now that movement is
cleaned. This is a true 17J movement. Sorry for
initial observation error. However, database note
of 15J is incorrect, and given the small total
production, unlikely a modification that was not
recorded as a different grade.

Serial Number 4785597 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: Marked "17 Jewels" on serial number matched
original barrel bridge. Also marked "Adjusted"
below "17 Jewels" on barrel bridge. Both markings
are Elgin factory-correct lettering with
characteristic hook on bottom of "7". However,
when I disassembled to repair & clean, confirmed
there are only 15 jewels (no center jewel pair).
Very curious. Back plate marked "Elgin Nat'l Watch
Co." and "Safety Pinion".
