Curator Response: Thanks for the report. You have what is referred to as a "Swiss Fake," imported and sold to mimic an American watch. It was not manufactured by the Hamilton Watch Company.

Note: face has a second set of numerals in a " close"to
red colour, below the black numbers indicating the
hours, and runs to a 24 hour indicator. so below
the twelve is 24 and below the 1 is thirteen. Also
above the 1 to 12 numerals is the minutes
beginning at 5 above the 1 in the same near red
colour. and then 10 at the 2 ...15 at the 3 etc.

Curator Response: Thanks for the report. It sounds like you are describing a "Canadian" dial, which includes the 13-24 markings.
