The original Booz & Co. was in business 1868-1871 in Philadelphia before becoming Booz, Hagstoz & Co. The "Booz & Co." name was used again in 1882 after other partners withdrew. The company merged with the National Watch Case Co., 1888. [Crossman]
In 1884, "silver cases" was dropped from company descriptions.
