Empire State Watch Co. Pocket Watch
Empire State Watch Co. was used as a trade name on pocket watch movements manufactured by New York Standard.
A consolidation of the Gurantee Watch Company and another company organized in February 1897. Dissolved approximately six months later. There is still mention of an Empire State Watch Co. in a 1904 issue of the New York Times (Auction Sales).
R.H. Macy's company also sold an "Empire State" watch around 1908-1911. However, these were not produced by the Empire State Watch Company.
