Charles Augustus Wilkins Crosby (1831-1894) was born in Worcester MA and worked circa 1855-1865 as a jeweler and watchmaker in Boston MA for the firm of A. F. BURBANK & Co. Crosby would later work for himself from 1865-1884. He is listed in the city directory at 231 Washington Street until 1875, then at 397 Washington Street. From 1884-1894 Crosby partnered with Edward Rivett in Brighton MA as the FANEUIL WATCH TOOL COMPANY. He was also a partner in 1890-1894 with his son, John Day Crosby in Boston MA as C. A. W. CROSBY & SON. |
