Dial Details | This style dial has no numbers around the outer indices, and has dots and stems around the outer dial. This style on the outer indices is seen between serial numbers 125 until around serial numbers 600 or 700. However, The arrows in the smallest subdial are outward facing arrows. This subdial change likely occurred between serial numbers 200-500. This early Auburndale Timer beats in quarters of a second and has a single stamped patent date of May 28, 1878 on the inside of the movement. Somewhere between serial numbers 2100-2500 this one patent date would change to show three different patent dates stamped on the movement. |
