Dial Details | This dial type was the longest running dial variation on the Auburndale Timers. The subdial is has arrows pointing outward with squiggly stems on each. The outer indices has numbers at the 10, 20, 40, and 50 minute marks. This style dial appeared roughly around serial number 1700 or 1800 and lasted all the way until the company went out of business. This Auburndale Timer beats in eighths of a second and has three stamped patent dates on the inside of the movement. Somewhere between serial numbers 2100-2500 these three patents dates were added. Prior to that, there was only one patent date (May 28, 1878) stamped into the inside of the movement. |
