Case Details | This Thiery Watch Case is stamped with three of Charles Thiery's patent dates, which is quite common for these cases. Many Thiery cases have the serial number either stamped on the inside ring or the back case cover, or both. For reasons unknown, there is only the letter "A" on the back case cover where the serial number would normally be. |

Dial Details | It is unknown when this dial type came out and whether it is original to this movement. It is similar to dials of this serial range, with the exception of the arrows on the subdial. The subdial has arrows pointing outward, but does not have the normally squiggly stems and the heavily curved "V" seen in other subdial arrows. This Auburndale Timer beats in eighths of a second and has three stamped patent dates on the inside of the movement. Somewhere between serial numbers 2100-2500 these three patents dates were added. Prior to that, there was only one patent date (May 28, 1878) stamped into the inside of the movement. |
