Case Details American Watch Case Co. “Fortune” model Mainliner style 16 size, open face, 10K smooth yellow gold fill, pendant set and slot right, screw-back-and-bezel, fancy dress or railroad case! Here's the Canadian version of Keystone's Mainliner under separate patent, with the finely engraved back in the Art Nouveau tradition framed by the fine milling work, thick, sturdy neck, large and classic Mainliner style crown, and the railroader's preferred large and sturdy bow!! This classic and traditional Canadian Mainliner case is in fully serviceable condition. I have restored and detailed this case right down to the threads and the crystal ledge so you get the best looking and working case possible! The back and bezel thread up easily, screw on and off smoothly, and both seat tight. The correct and matching crown's fluting is still highly defined for a tight, sure grip, and it turns freely and extracts properly to set pendant-set time. The bow is likewise its correct matching square original, shows zero brass or damage, and holds very tight to positions. The crystal is missing and will need to be replaced. This fine case fits all standard-featured pendant-set and lever-set movements. The case does show exceedingly minimal wear, including nothing other than the most superficial and unavoidable exterior scratching, zero marrings, zero doodlings, zero brass anywhere detectable other than a tiny amount around the edge of the band, and certifiably no sign of any dents, dings, dimples or depressions!

Dial Details Hamilton "Railway Special" Model "Boxcar" Arabic 16 size, open face, single sunk melamine, bold black Arabic numerals with surrounding black minute-markers, 3-post, fancy dress or more likely railroad dial! This dial is in excellent shape. It is clean all the way around except for just one part with the common cracking and buckling so common with Ham's melamine dials, repaired but going from the center hole over to the “2.” That's totally it for damage and some minute bezel rub areas that I can see with a loupe. The dial does show the very minor and ordinary wear as described.

XXF condition Hamilton 16 size, HANDS - factory-finished (not doctored-up after-market) RR-bold blue matching spade hour and pointer minute design hand set fitting all dress or railroad models. This fine set of hands fits every 16-size model Hamilton ever made, and look best on the late model 992s, any 992B, 950, 950B or 950E. These hands are in great condition, entirely unbent and undamaged, very close to 100% of the original factory blue finish still intact, and ready to go on your favorite Hamilton timepiece.
