Case Details Case is a late model screw bezel and back base metal with chrome. "MONTGOMERY WARD BASE METAL 330." are stamped inside the rear cover. An Image of a diesel locomotive is stamped on the back of the cover.

Dial Details Outer dial chapter shows paint cracking and lifting from the dial plate with a section flaked off at the 7 o'clock position. "SWISS MADE" is printed under, and 17 JEWELS INCABLOCK" over the seconds bit. "Le Grand" and a steam locomotive is printed under the 12 o'clock position.
Movement Markings MONTGOMERY WARD is stamped on the train bridge, "SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS UNADJUSTED SWISS" is stamped on the barrel bridge.
