lists Crescent Watch Case Co. Planet as 10KGF, 15 Year warranty.

Another resource: "Trade-Marks of the Jewelry and Kindred Trades", Fourth Edition, published in 1922;
lists the "Planet" as GF with an unspecified purity and a 20 year guarantee

A NAWCC reference agrees with my second resource, so I went with the "unspecified/20 y". To wit:

My sources indicate that the Crescent Extra was the only 14k gold filled case.
He also advises that after 1898, Crescent, in keeping with market trends, increased the guarantee to 20 years.
