| Case Details | . Overall, the case is spectacular, with no visible signs of wear, brassing or abuse. The front and back bezels go on and off without cross-threading, but the back bezel can be a bit fussy getting into the right track. The covers screw on tightly. The crown is not worn, and allows a good grip when winding the watch. The bail is firm and not floppy. The case serial number is stamped on the body of the case and the rear bezel. The numbers match. This case was priced at $13.00 in the Jewelers’ Circular, February 1898. |
