Case Details | I could not see any way a bow would be part of the neck. I will try to ask the sell about that? Most display cases I've seen have bows. Response from seller: The case is a double hinged display case that was used by salesman to show prospective buyers a movement without having to open the back of the case. The display case is made of silveroid and never had a bow and has no provisions for a bow. I put the watch into the display case to show the back of the movement with the engine engraved on it so that each time I wanted to show the unique movement I would not have to remove the back, also each time a movement is exposed to the air tiny particles of dirt and dust can get into the movement and may cause harm. If the owner wanted to carry the watch the case can be changed to one with a bow. Hope this answers your question.msduvy 1-23-15, For Sale On E-Bay Up for sale is a RARE WALTHAM 19 JEWELS " WALTHAM STANDARD " RAILROAD POCKETWATCH WITH ENGINE ENGRAVED ON MOVEMENT. The case is very tight and requires a case opener to open front and back. There is no bow on the case and never had one and was made this way. The movement works well and keeps good time and is ready to use and carry. Very unusual WALTHAM model 92 with 19 RUBY jewels. When have you ever seen a Waltham railroad watch marked RUBY JEWELS?
