| Case Details | On E-Bay, 4-4-16. There is a interesting solid gold wrap around the case the houses the movement. I call this a fake solid gold watch, only because there is a wrap around the holder. Still a very nice watch. Pocket Watch 101. See Seller Notes Below: Here's a good looking vintage antique 1928 14K white gold Waltham Wristwatch on a brown leather Hadley band(buckle is 14k also) in used condition as shown in photos.Please see last picture for watch data and details.This watch just sat around and got old and appears to only have alittle wear on the outside.It starts and stops,sticks and then goes,I wound it up.But then I stopped there and I'll leave it to a professional.I'd have to say it doesn't work to be upfront, but don't think it would take more than a good cleaning and a lube job to tune it up.Its 88 years old after all.Old doctors estate auction this past weekend,and he had bunch of watches and this one had nice eye appeal.Band appears to fit 6"-7" wrist.Please check out other new listings being added all time.Good luck and have fun on this old collectible timepiece. |
