Seller Notes below: Fine antique Elgin solid tri-color 14K gold double hunter pocket watch 1896, recently cleaned & overhauled in full working order, weighing 59 gram. This very handsome three color solid double hunter gold watch by Elgin is beautifully engraved with a majestic elk to the back with foliate & scrolled design, the front having a similar design with a cartouche to the center that is free from an engraved monogram. The dial is of white enamel with black Roman numerals and a seconds dial to the base and marked Elgin, the outer case is stamped 14K U.S. Assay, the movement is also engraved. This pocket watch is in excellent running condition & keeps great time & is hand winding, size is 2.75" (7cm) long, weight is 59 gram. A very fine antique American solid 14k gold pocket watch from 1896 in great working order please see my other auctions for fine antiques, this auction starting at $0.99 and sold to the highest bidder with a very modest reserve. |
