This is a true rare historical antique timepiece from the President of the United States of America Teddy Roosevelt. Teddy Roosevelt presented this award pocket watch to Captain Hans Christian Christensen of the Danish steamship Generalconsul Pallisen in recognition of his humane services in effecting the rescue of captain and crew of the American Schooner George Sturges wrecked at sea on October 4 1908.
