Case Material Coinsilver
Case Manufacturer American Waltham Watch Co.
Case Grade/Model Round
Case Serial # 90144
Case Details This is a nice silver case i did give it a good polish and its in good shape but there are some small dents on the outer edge. I swapped the crown and bow out, crown is some type of steel or base metal and the crown keeps tarnishing a gold color so its a nickel copper mix. Bow sits firm and the crown works very well with positive engagement on set and wind and with a nice rear click. The crown is a little large for the case, meaning the inner diameter of the crown vs the outer of the case. One last thing i did get a new glass crystal at 48.0mm at 1.75mm thick convex and although it does fit i had to glue it in place, i think it needs maybe a 49 or 50mm to get the best fit.
Dial Material
Dial Type Single-Sunk
Dial Style Roman
Dial Signing Name Elgin Script
Dial Details The dial has seen better days. There is a crack / chip from the sub dial through 7. There is also a chip on the top of 11 that is hidden by the bezel. The hands appear to be a mix one is purple and one is blue. The dial is also very shiny, even my mint dials aren't so shiny so im not sure if this was polished or perhaps its a style i have not seen before.
