Case Details J.P. Stevens went out of business in 1887. J.C. Dueber didn't move the Watch Case Factory from Newport, KY, to Canton, OH., till 1889, but I find it impossible to accurately date any Dueber Coin Case unless they're marked "Canton, Ohio" & therefore post-1889. Some were marked "Newport Coin" but it's unclear if this was a model designation or just the factory location [Newport's were Coin Silver w/ Albata Caps & Dueber's were Coin Silver w/ Silver Caps] or both. This Case has a low serial # & an interesting type of Lever cut-out on the Bezel, as well as having the type of Engraving I've seen on the older Key-Wind, Coin Cases. It may very well be original to the movement but at the moment, it's impossible to say, one way or the other, with any assurance.
