Note: My watch is obviously made by Hamilton as it is
identical to others this serial number range, but
it is (I guess) a private label watch. It is
engraved "M Homrighous" and "Tuscola, Ill" where
the movement is and "M Homrighous Busy Jeweler" on
the face of the watch.
Curator Response: Thanks for the report. Yes, indeed. It sounds like you have a private label. Original factory records indicate this watch was sold to "M. Homrighous" on January 5, 1897.
