John C. Dueber, merely "Hampden Watch Co." and is
only marked "Adjusted". Most likely, it is a
grade No. 63, the nameless version of the
open-face John C. Dueber grade.
These, and the pre-1908 John C. Dueber grade, are
described in catalogs as only being adjusted to
heat and cold, not to position and certainly not 5
positions (see
http://mb.nawcc.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=16
1904&d=1358619740). The 1908 version of the John
C. Dueber grade movements are fully marked to be
adjusted to five positions.
