Research Note: Most references designate this run as Type III 21 Jewel Bunn Special. However, original factory records indicate this run was produced as Grade 405 (12-Size, Model 3, 17 Jewels). While Megger's research list indicates a Bunn Special was observed in this run, no modern observation has been logged, and several surviving examples from this run suggest the Grade 405 classification is correct.

Curator Response: Verified. [eBay #143658870573]. Movement is not marked "127" but other characteristics are consistent (12s, False Center Bridge, "17 Jewels"," "Adjusted," "Double Roller," and "cog wheel" damaskeened design on the winding wheels.

Curator Response: I agree with this assessment. The Grade 127 was an "updated" 405, so the features are nearly identical.
