Mint

The entire watch (including movement, dial, hands, and case) is in original like-new condition with no indication of use.

Near Mint

The entire watch (including movement, dial, hands, and case) is in original like-new condition. Faint marks or scratches are visible under magnification, indicating slight handling and very little usage.

Extra Fine

The movement, dial, hands, and case are original to the watch. The movement finish and inlay is in original condition. Any mechanical repairs were completed with original factory parts. Faint scratches may be present but difficult to detect. The dial does not contain any prominent hairlines or chips. Hands feature original luster and color. No signs of oxidation on polished parts.

Fine

The movement, and dial are original to the watch. The hands may have been replaced, but match the original hands. The dial might contain very faint hairlines but no prominent chips. The case is not marred with any heavy scratches or dents, and no brassing is visible. The crystal may have been replaced but is clear with no heavy scratches. Polished parts may show subtle signs oxidation.

Average

The movement and dial are original to the watch. The dial might contain faint hairlines or minor chips. The hands and other polished parts may show signs of oxidation. The case might be marred with minor scratches or dents, but little to no brassing is visible. The crystal is clear with no heavy scratches.

Fair

The dial might have been replaced or might contain more prominent hairlines and small chips. The case might be marred with visible scratches or dents, and brassing may be evident. Signs of age and use are apparent, including slight discolorations and oxidation. Despite the visible flaws, the watch still presents well.

Poor

The dial is damaged with prominent hairlines and/or chips. The hands may be missing, bent, or mismatched. The crystal may be missing or in need of replacement. The case shows signs of heavy wear, including scratches, dents, and brassing. The watch has likely not been serviced in quite some time.

Very Poor

Problems prevent the watch from winding or running properly, requiring repairs. Brass is showing in large areas on the case. Parts may be missing or not original. The movement, dial, and case may display signs of mishandling, abuse, or extreme wear.

Functionality Conditions

Working Condition: The watch winds and runs properly. All parts are in working order. The movement does not require repair, but cleaning or service may be necessary to make the watch run accurately.

Non-Working Condition: The watch does not run properly and is in need of repair. Parts may be missing or broken. Values are largely determined by the extent of the necessary repairs.
