Serial Number 5910918 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: I have a partial movement from a lot purchased on
Ebay.
1. The size is 16s, not 18s (this is based on my
own measurement as well as the Gray Book
information)
2. It is a 3/4 plate movement, not a full plate
3. The model is an 1888, not 1883. This is
according to the Gray Book and the main plate is
stamped "Patented MAR. 6 1888". My understanding
is that the model is the year the movement was
designed.

Serial Number 5910408 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: This is a model 1888 16s. The 1883 is an 18s and
the plates look nothing like the '88. It is also
listed in the gray book as a 16s '88. There seems
to be people calling this 1883 described movement
as super rare which, in my opinion, is misleading.
