Organized in March 1885.
On December 15, 1892, the factory of the American Watch Case Company was destroyed by fire after a can of naptha exploded. The factory machinery and approximately 400 gold and gold-filled cases were completely destroyed at an estimated loss of $25,000.
A new factory was build at 511-513 King St., and the company moved the operation in August 1893.
