Specialized in manufacturing gold cases. Reorganized as the "Courvoisier-Wilcox Watch Case Co." in 1894. The company went into receivership in 1905.

Around 1892, the company became the sole selling agents for the gold-filled cases manufactured by the Essex Watch Case Company. Within a few years, the company had absorbed Essex to offer a line of gold-filled cases, sold under the "Essex" name.
