Ramona
In original advertisements and publications, the term "double stock" was used by the trade when describing products made with two different purities of the same material. This is primarily exhibited by the cases offered by the Brooklyn Watch Case Company, clearly promoted as "double stock," comprised of two different purities of gold. While no advertisements for the "Ramona" grade case have been found to date, it can be concluded that the "Double Stock" term marked on the case suggests the outer layer of the gold-filled material is a higher quality gold (probably 14K) while the inner (inside cap) layer is a lower quality gold. The "20 Years" guarantee marked on the case indicates there is a core material, making the case "gold filled" as well.
