| Case Details | Painted on back, It's a 14k Gold case with a long gold chain with a knob that has a black backing with the white letter D on it looks like possibly Pearl not really sure as of yet. The case is Dated on the inside April 22nd 1879, stamped 14K with A.W.C. Also has a very light engraving with the numbers 82566 in the inside of the case top left corner. The watch works with no issues but it's missing the dial face 2nd hand which I would just love to find to get this fully functional as it's just such a Beautiful rear peace I just really love how this watch works. To set the time you open the door then pull out a little metal swing arm lever out then turn the wind up knob on the top to set the time. Just wow what a great find & watch to have in my collection. The dial backing has a hair line crack on the top right corner but doesn't bother the function of the watch it's self. I really want to find that 2nd hand for the dial face to make it fully functional to use it. So on the hunt I go looking & surfing the web lol. |
