Movement Markings | "17 Jewels, Adjusted", "A.W.W.Co. Waltham Mass", "Crescent St." and serial no. are stamped on the train bridge. "Safety Barrel" is stamped on the barrel bridge. Note: This movement started out as a 17j model 1892 Royal, but a small number were converted to Crescent Streets at the factory simply by machining off "Royal" and replacing it with "Crescent St.". No one is quite sure how many were converted this way. |
