| Case Details | Case is a H. Muhr and Sons gold filled, boxed hinged, hunter. Inside of back cover shows trade mark of a flag labeled "EXCELSIOR" indicating the case had a twenty year warranty. The serial no. is 112530. The front cover has what appears to be a die engraved cartouche ( no initials) surrounded by a looping pattern. The looping pattern is repeated on the rear cover and within is a swallow chasing a butterfly. This appears to be hand engraved. The serial number is stamped on the inside of both the front and rear covers and also the inside of the cuvette. The case is not original to the movement as addition set of screw marks are visible. |
