Case Details | Case is in very good condition, with a good opening spring, and cover opens to 90 degrees. The dust cover and case back cover snap closed securely and the hinges still have the gold end fillets in place. The front and rear covers show moderate wear on the flat sections, but the the die engraved morning glory floral pattern around the front and rear cover edges show only minor wear, and the deep die engraved detail on the case ring shows very little wear at all. The only brassing seen is on the sides of the case neck. The case bow is firm and the crown has very little wear. The rear cover still has the original Fahys watch paper inside. |

Dial Details | A private label of Jeweler Adam Bloedel who's store was at 327 E Wisconsin Ave. Milwaukee, WI. Bloedel was born in Germany in 1842 and migrated to the U.S. with in 1854. His business was involuntarily dissolved on June 28th 1918 and Bloedel died in 1921. There is a feint "Y" shaped hairline leading from the intersection of the first sink to between the 2 and 3 min. marks when branching to the outer edge. |
