Case Grade/Model Hamilton Salesmen Case
Case Serial # Salesmen Case with no numbers
Case Details Salesman case with display back showing the 992 model 1 movement in all its glory. No extra screw marks around the movement. No serial numbers found on case with movement in place. The case is stamped 'Hamilton' and is in very nice condition.
Dial Material Enamel
Dial Type Double-Sunk
Dial Style Roman
Dial Signing Name Hamilton
Dial Details The double sunk dial appears to be a 578 later dial which must date from the 1920s onwards. The dial should have script "Hamilton" name instead of bold lettering. Not era correct, should have something like a 436 scripted dial. The dial has grown on me and now I would not change it for a period correct dial. Condition wise the dial is in very nice condition and really sets the Hamilton off, together with the salesman's case.

Bought from a seller in Georgia, United States and shipped to England. Stuck in customs in the UK for a week after arriving in the UK. Finally cleared and delivered but well worth the wait. Originally wanted the 992B but saw this 992 model 1 and could not resist it. A stunning decorative movement that even non watch lovers find themselves saying "Wow".
