Serial Number 124861 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: It's a fifteen jewel hunter. I know in the 1800s
railroad quality was different. I do not believe
this watch to be of railroad quality
Curator Response: Thanks for the report. This run has been reclassified as Grade "Lafayette" which was not railroad grade. The movement likely contains 11 jewels instead of 15, consistent with other Lafayette examples during this era.

Serial Number 124973 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: Lists this movement as a Railway. The actual
Movement is labelled as a "Lafayette". It is also
listed as Adjusted and as Railroad Grade. It is
neither. It also has a standard regulator.
