Serial Number 809388 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: Nathan:

Same dealer, same emphasis on "Railroad Grade"
also apparently using your website as a source.

Serial number 809388 is a 16S movement bearing
what Hernick & Arnold describe as a "D (in split
flag)" indicating that it is a grade No. 109.
Hernick & Arnold state that this is a 13J or 15J
movement, but this one has an upper center jewel
indicating at least 16 jewels.

Nevertheless, the grade No. 109 is unadjusted and
this movement is NOT marked "Adjusted" It is not
adjusted to temperature, not adjusted to five (or
any) positions and thus it is not railroad grade.

The nearest railroad grade movements are grade
No. 105 (NR in flag) whose serial numbers go up to
808000 and (arguably) grade No. 106 whose serial
numbers start at 815001.

Best regards,
Kent
