Note: Thank you for your site! This movement is
identical to another I have. Both are grade 81
-model 3 - a 17 jewel, lever set, special
adjusted with Teske regulator. The Hampden book
states that grade 81 with these standards is a
railroad grade. This site notes that on one of my
watches, but NOT on this one. Is there a reason?
Thanks - DAVE
Curator Response: Thanks for the report. The "Special Adjusted" (No. 67) movement would certainly be considered railroad grade at the time. The database has been updated to include this designation.
