Serial Number 1772410 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: Replying to your question: in the book "AMERICAN
POCKET WATCHES, Illinois Watch Co., Encyclopedia &
Price Guide" Bill Meggers & Roy Ehrhardt, PP101.
under Grade 69, it states "15 or 17 jewels --
ADJUSTED (or unmarked), "69" --Temperature,
Positions, Isochronism..." This is interpreted as
meaning 'YES' these movements were ADJUSTED (even
if the bridge plate is 'not' marked as such).
Curator Response: Thanks for the followup with the source information. I am aware of the claim in the Meggers/Ehrhardt book, but I have not found any evidence to substantiate this. During this era, the Illinois Watch Company was marking adjusted movements as "Adjusted." Additionally, no period advertisements have been found to indicate the Grade 69 was adjusted when other grade descriptions clearly make the claim when relevant. Let me know if you happen to find original materials to support the level of adjustment.

Serial Number 1772410 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: I see a number of correction to this page,
The size you have listed is incorrect. should be
18s.
The run size is correct (1000) but total
production is incorrect, should be 119568.
The ‘movement drawing’ is incorrect, should
be EA 457.
Plate should be FULL (not ¾)
not Double Roller. Change to Single roller.
ADJUSTED needs to be changed to YES (Temperature,
Positions & Isochronism)
Dial feet locations: 2.0, 21.5, 38.5
case screw locations: 23.5, 51.5
additional specs you ‘may’ want to add (or
not) your decision
- hairspring = Breguet
- safety center pinion
- regulator = REED (micro)
Curator Response: Thanks for the report. Most of the information you covered was pulled in due to the incorrect size correlation. Is your movement marked "Adjusted?" I have not found any primary sources to support that the Grade 69 was adjusted.
