First let me say how my I appreciate the work you
have put into this site! Great job! All of the
info. is accurate (mostly) but not the presented
diagram. The 706 is a 3/4 plate with a "false
bridge" and has a 2 finger bridge for the second
hand and escape wheels. The grade 706 was also
adjusted to 3 (like mine) AND 4 positions. It
appears most of the 17j models were marked with
the grade and 4 positions from what I have seen on
closed listings on eBay. Mine also has gold gilded
ser. no., lettering, case, bridge, and jewel
screws and regulator. I took the info. from
Meggers and Ehrhardt's Illinois Encyclopedia Vol.
4. I have added a picture of my movement also.
