Note: I have just bought this piece and looked it up in
Roy Ehrhardt's American Pocket Watch I.D. & Price
Guide Book 2 Pg. 136 and it IDs as a Grade 83x 15
jewel with a Johnson Reg. Let me know if I am
mistaken. Thanks

Curator Response: Thanks for the report. Rockford serial lists indicate this run is Grade 69, featuring 11 screw-set jewels. Checking the plate jewels under the dial would verify whether the movement contains 11 or 15 jewels. The damaskeening pattern is consistant with catalog illustrations of Grade 69.
