Curator Response: Thanks for the report. Waltham Serial Lists are ambiguous regarding the setting method. Lever-set movements are frequently found in these runs, so it is unsurprising that your watch is lever-set. Also, many railroads across the United States would have accepted pendant-set watches at the time of production (c.1907), so that point is irrelevant. This is a common misunderstanding about the progression of railroad requirements. I have added your report to the research notes for the run.
