Note: Hi there, I believe this serial is a model 1908 -

Curator Response: Thanks for the report. Since the estimated production year for this movement is c.1908, it is possible the model is actually a 1908 even though Waltham records designate the run as 1899. Have you inspected the winding mechanism under the crown wheel for verification?
