non-sunk seconds sub-dial is directly below "12";
the dial is silver and marked "8 Days" directly
below the seconds sub-dial and "WALTHAM" directly
above the "6". It is stem wind and set, with the
long 5 cm stem protruding downward from the "6".
To wind you push up on the stem.
