Serial Number 42274 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: This is unfortunately an Equity model. The number
is the same on the movement and under the dial. I'
m a little confused because the movement looks
more like a Model 1894 in 12S. However, it is
definitely more like a 16S as measured 42.8 mm. I
guess that the numbers of this series do not
correspond to the other Waltham numbering. Again
sory but I didn't know where else to sort the
pocket watch!

Curator Response: Thanks for the report. Unfortuantely, some of the Equity movements are marked with a truncated serial or special serial block that will not correspond to the standard Waltham lookup engine. Hopefully, more reserach efforts can be invested in the Equity grade in the near future.
