Curator Response: The "Gray Book" used to source the information was published by the Waltham Watch Company in the 1950s. While it contains inaccuracies, this is still the best resource for identifying Waltham watches from this era. This information, including notes about possible inaccuracies, is displayed on the source research pages previously linked: https://pocketwatchdatabase.com/guide/company/waltham/source/waltham-gray-book-serial-list/42. The "Seaside" runs are notorious for being mixed with different variants. However, it is easy to identify jewel counts and setting mechanisms for identification. You do not need a book or a database to do this.
